KFC wanted to get customers excited about the relaunch of the Double Down Sandwich. A sandwich this daring seemed to have only one target: men.
In this commercial, we created a rallying cry for the everyday man - the everyday man who just wants a sandwich for lunch - a sandwich made of 2 pieces of chicken, 2 pieces of cheese, and 2 pieces of bacon.
In addition to our commercial, we also created a special Facebook group called The Order of the Double Down for those who had dared to try the meaty sandwich. We invited them to dare their friends to try the Double Down using one of 4 online videos we created: "Knock Knock," "Pansy Man," "Invitation," and "Triumph." Watch two selects from that series.
